Native to Miami, Dr. Ruggiano has been an avid athlete and always interested in ways to stay fit and healthy. He was experiencing back pain as a high school wrestler and was introduced to chiropractic care through a friend. After just one office visit, his back pain was gone and he continued with maintenance care ever since. He then went to Life University and graduated in 1991 with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He followed his education with a post graduate course on chiropractic sports medicine and obtained his CCSP Certification.
Dr. Ruggiano has been in private practice since 1991 and has treated many athletes. Being an avid athlete who enjoys kitesurfing, cycling and snowboarding, Dr. Ruggiano has treated many windsurfers, kite surfers and triathletes. He also served as a team chiropractor during the 1996 Summer Olympics with several members of the USA Olympic windsurfing team.
Dr. Ruggiano is an active member of the Florida Chiropractic Association and continues to expand his knowledge about ways to improve health and fitness with proper nutrition and other chiropractic methods.
